Prudence Island Groundwater Workshop

The CTP has coordinated this public workshop for Prudence Islanders and other concerned citizens to learn about the basics of island hydrology in addition to issues specific to Prudence Island, particularly related to groundwater supply.  Participants will be informed of evidence from past studies and the recent activities of the town-initiated Prudence Island Task Force. 

In addition to formal presentations on the topics mentioned above, there will be a panel of specialists who focus on groundwater-related issues who will share their knowledge and recommendations on research, educational needs and implementation strategies for dealing with the issues involved with Prudence Island’s groundwater resources. The panel members represent state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations and universities.
